Charles Beasley

In addition to my work at FIG, I am also a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Mind, Ethics, and Policy at NYU. Before that, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the LUISS in Rome, and I completed my PhD in the Department of Philosophy, Logic, and Scientific Method at the LSE.

I am a philosopher of science by training, and most of my work is on biological and artificial non-human minds. I am generally interested in leveraging philosophical methods to strengthen scientific practice.

At FIG, I support and accelerate our fellows as they conduct cutting-edge research alongside some of the world’s top researchers.
